In the Photography Area at ETIC_Algarve, you will go far beyond simply ‘taking good photos’. Here, you will learn to master the entire photographic process, from concept to post-production, developing your creative eye and the technical skills necessary to transform images into communication and art.
The Professional Photography Technical Course trains you with technical and creative skills to work in various areas of Photography, from advertising, fashion and photojournalism to portraiture, events or architecture. You will learn the entire process, from planning to execution and printing, and be challenged to use Photography as a means of artistic expression and visual communication.
The Technical Photography Course prepares you for versatile practice in different contexts such as portraiture, advertising, real estate or journalism, giving you mastery of the equipment, solid post-production skills and the ability to transform your observations into visual narratives.
At ETIC_Algarve, you learn how to take photographs, not just how to observe them. You work in a real-life context, create projects that matter and leave prepared to showcase your portfolio.

Rooms and studios designed for photography
In the Photography Area, learning takes place in modern classrooms equipped with software used in the photography industry, ensuring that you work from the outset with the tools that professionals use in the market.
You also have access to a multi-purpose studio designed to accommodate all types of photo shoots, from Fashion and Advertising to Portraiture, Nude, Events or Architecture.
Here, you experiment, create and gain practical experience in real-life contexts, transforming the classroom into a creative space without limits.
These environments give you the opportunity to build a solid portfolio and experience photography in a practical way, preparing you to enter the market with confidence and experience.
