{"id":10303,"date":"2023-06-06T11:15:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-06T11:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eticalgarve.com\/etic-algarve-lidem-barcelona-videogames\/"},"modified":"2026-01-07T09:51:05","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T09:51:05","slug":"etic-algarve-lidem-barcelona-videogames","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eticalgarve.com\/en\/etic-algarve-lidem-barcelona-videogames\/","title":{"rendered":"ETIC_Algarve and L&#8217;idem Barcelona develop 3 videogames together"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<noscript class=\"loading-lazy\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1081\" height=\"631\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eticalgarve.com\/files\/uploads\/2025\/10\/blogpost-e-hero_blogpost.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6185\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eticalgarve.com\/files\/uploads\/2025\/10\/blogpost-e-hero_blogpost.png 1081w, https:\/\/www.eticalgarve.com\/files\/uploads\/2025\/10\/blogpost-e-hero_blogpost-300x175.png 300w, https:\/\/www.eticalgarve.com\/files\/uploads\/2025\/10\/blogpost-e-hero_blogpost-1024x598.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.eticalgarve.com\/files\/uploads\/2025\/10\/blogpost-e-hero_blogpost-768x448.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1081px) 100vw, 1081px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/noscript>\n<div style=\"height:43px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"2:8\">The partnership<\/span> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"19:64\">between <strong>ETIC_Algarve<\/strong> and<\/span> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lidembarcelona.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">L\u2019Idem Barcelona<\/a><\/strong> <span class=\"YPkS7KbdpWfGdYKd3QB9\" data-src-align=\"19:64\">is already producing results.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p>During this school year, the graduates of the two schools developed, from scratch, <strong>3 Virtual Reality video games<\/strong>, which began with the joint creation by the graduates of both schools of the script and typology of video games to be produced.<\/p>\n\n<p>Responsible for the <strong>mechanics<\/strong> and <strong>programming of the three video games<\/strong>, the 2nd-year <strong>students of the Video Games<\/strong> course at <strong>ETIC_Algarve<\/strong> integrated all the artistic and visual content created by the students at <strong>L&#8217;Idem Barcelona<\/strong>, with one of the games being developed specifically for the <strong>Metaverse<\/strong>, the 3D world of the founder of Facebook.<\/p>\n\n<p>Taking advantage of the synergies between the two institutions, it is intended to enhance the training and professional path of its graduates, allowing participation in international project development teams that prepare them for integration into the labor market.<\/p>\n\n<p>In fact, the work system implemented for the realization of the projects followed the methodologies used by the video game creation and development studios.<\/p>\n\n<p>For our graduates it was an opportunity to grow technically, but also personally, since they had the opportunity to work in an international team, with constant challenges, which led them to leave the comfort zone for the realization of a common project to two schools.<\/p>\n\n<p>We are proud to see this joint project featured in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/renderout.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Renderout!<\/a><\/strong>, magazine, a magazine created by artists for artists, specializing in the world of <strong>3D animation <\/strong>and<strong> VFX<\/strong> in Spain, distributed online. Students enrolled in the <a href=\"https:\/\/eticalgarve.com\/curso\/design-comunicacao-multimedia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Communication and Multimedia Design<\/strong><\/a> course who are attending the 3rd year of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lidembarcelona.com\/estudios-superiores\/diseno-grafico-digital-internacional\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Digital Design<\/a><\/strong> course can also obtain this higher degree at <strong>L&#8217;Idem Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The partnership between ETIC_Algarve and L\u2019Idem Barcelona is already producing results.
