The ETIC_Algarve website receives an honourable mention at the Awwwards, one of the most prestigious international platforms for recognition in web design. The distinction comes after Kobu Agency, the agency responsible for creating and developing the website, submitted the project to the platform, where it was evaluated and voted on internationally. With ratings given by users on a scale of 1 to 10, the ETIC_Algarve website achieved an average of 7 points, thus securing the honourable mention.

This distinction validates not only the quality of the new website, but also a digital strategy focused on user experience, visual innovation, brand identity, and technical performance.

The Awwwards are an international platform that recognises the best digital projects in the world, evaluating criteria such as:

With projects from around the world featured on the platform, recognition is the result of a public evaluation by the Awwwards community. Users assign scores on a scale of 1 to 10, and from this set of evaluations, a final result is calculated that determines distinctions such as honourable mentions.

How the ETIC_Algarve website earned this honourable mention

The new website was developed by Kobu Agency, in a strategic collaboration that began with a brand consulting phase. A misalignment between visual identity, language, and digital positioning was identified.

The goal was clear: to create a digital experience that truly reflected ETIC_Algarve’s identity as a creative, young, dynamic and market-oriented school.

The result was a digital platform that combines innovative design, clear structure, and a highly intuitive user experience.

Homepage with dynamic layout and immersive video

The homepage was designed to be visually striking. The layout has a more fluid and organic feel, breaking with the rigid structures of the past.

Elements that interact with sound and movement

One of the most distinctive elements of the project is its interaction with sound.
Certain visual components react to cursor movement and sound stimuli, creating a lively and exploratory digital experience.

This approach reinforces the brand’s creative identity and positions the website as more than just an informative platform, but as an experience.

Desktop and mobile with visual consistency

The desktop version features structured thumbnails with strong visual impact and a clear information hierarchy.

The mobile version maintains this consistency, ensuring responsiveness, readability, and performance. The adaptive design has been carefully developed to ensure a smooth experience on any device.

Structured, user-oriented course page

The Courses Page has been redesigned with a focus on clarity of information. The layout allows quick access to essential content, course features, and strategic calls to action.

The information architecture has been reorganised to facilitate decision-making by prospective students, reducing frustration when navigating the site.

Study Progression Page with interactive map

One of the most distinctive features is the Study Progress Page.

Where a fully dynamic interactive map has been developed that allows you to view partnerships, academic progression, and international opportunities.

This element reinforces not only usability, but also the school’s transparency and strategic vision.

A recognition that reinforces ETIC_Algarve’s positioning

ETIC_Algarve is a leading school in creative education in southern Portugal, with 15 years of experience in practical training in the areas of:

The new website was launched on 18 October 2025, celebrating the school’s 15th anniversary and marking a new phase in its digital communication.
