What is the JUMP Internship?

The JUMP internship – Professional Integration Support is ETIC_Algarve’s optional extracurricular internship programme for recent graduates of technical courses. The aim is to facilitate entry into the job market by connecting graduates and companies and ensuring constant monitoring so that their first professional experience is effective and generates value.

To participate in the JUMP Internship:

• Trainees will be required to complete a Technical Course at ETIC_Algarve
• In order to undertake the JUMP internship, trainees must apply within one year of completing the Technical Course
• The maximum duration of a JUMP internship is 320 hours.
• The school acts as an intermediary between students and partner companies in the region, responding to market needs and promoting the transition to work based on practical and creative training.

 The selection process for the Jump Internship has a strong component of shared responsibility. The following are considered:

• Commitment and connection to the school during the training programme
• Minimum attendance of 90% of the total course hours
• Financial situation regularised
• Application form submitted by 1 September
• Portfolio, showreel and creative CV submitted by 1 September
• Motivation letter in Portuguese and English
• Proactivity in identifying companies for internships
