Lábia

Ideas Laboratory

Ideas with Lábia

Lábia is ETIC_Algarve’s Idea Lab, created to transform students’ creativity into real projects. It is a space that promotes inspiration, innovation and interdisciplinary, with technical, logistical and human support to bring each idea to life.

We know that our graduates and alumini have a lot of “lábia”.

We want to put that lábia to the test and, better yet, help turn it into reality.

How?

To do this, we start by offering participants the conditions to develop their “Lábia”. We put at your disposal a very own workspace, designed to stimulate inspiration and give wings to creativity: the labia room.

Then, with their “Lábia” ready, the participants are invited to present it. Better yet, through “Ideias com Lábia” (Lábia Ideas) – ETIC_ALGARVE”s Ideas Lab – we will support the creation and development of projects with potential.

How to participate?

You can do it in 2 ways:

  • Apply for a project of yours, whether original or developed within the scope of your training at school.
  • Participate in the development of ongoing projects

How does it work?

Your project, once submitted, will be evaluated by ETIC_Algarve. If you are selected, you will have our support in 3 dimensions:

  • Technical and Human support – with a tutor appointed to accompany the development of the project.
  • Logistical support – with computer, photographic, video and other equipment that we provide for the implementation of the project.
  • Financial support – in conditions to be defined by each project.

Lábia Week

Lábia week is a week dedicated to interdisciplinary: graduates get together in groups with students from different courses and areas and work for 5 days on a project, the theme of which is drawn by the school.
This experience promotes teamwork, autonomy, responsibility and creativity, allowing participants to know new working methods and expand horizons in creative areas.

Conversas Com Lábia (Conversations with Lábia)

In Conversations with Lábia we promote debates, masterclasses and experimental sessions with experts who share experiences in the creative areas of the school: Design, Sound & music, video, photography, animation & videogames, Marketing & Communication and programming.
