Progression of Studies with British International Certification at ETIC_Algarve

Study Progression is a new stage in ETIC_Algarve’s training programme, which will be incorporated into our training offer from the 2026/2027 academic year onwards.
This study progression corresponds to Specialisation Courses and allows trainees who complete the 2-year Technical Courses to obtain a British International Certification recognised and validated by Teesside University.

This new stage represents a natural evolution of the two-year technical courses, offering the possibility to deepen skills and strengthen academic and professional paths, without the need to leave ETIC_Algarve.

What are Specialisation Courses?

Specialisation Courses consist of 1-year specialised training programmes that complement a 2-year Technical Course, thus becoming an optional 3rd year for students who wish to continue their studies and obtain an internationally recognised diploma.

This is an opportunity to:

The partnership with Teesside University

The possibility of offering a Specialisation Course with British International Certification is only possible thanks to the partnership between ETIC_Algarve and Teesside University.

Teesside University is a university located in Middlesbrough, England, with approximately 22,500 students. It is renowned for its strong links to industry and practical approach to teaching.

It is this academic validation that allows ETIC_Algarve students to obtain international certification without having to study abroad.
