The Communication Design and Multimedia Course at ETIC_Algarve is a professional training programme that combines creativity and technique to prepare you for the job market in the areas of communication design and multimedia design. With technical teaching and practical training, you will learn how to create and develop visual communication projects, graphic design, and interactive digital content for different platforms.
Throughout the Communication Design and Multimedia Course, you will learn:
- Multimedia and new media: web design, audiovisual and digital content
- Creation and development of interfaces and interactive experiences websites, applications, social networks
- Video planning, structuring, editing, and post-production.
This course in the field of design prepares you to work on real projects that combine design and multimedia, equipping you with the tools you need to create creative and effective solutions for brands, companies, and digital projects.
Upon completing this Technical Course in Communication Design and Multimedia, you will undertake a Curricular Internship lasting 480 hours, an essential step in applying the skills acquired throughout the course and gaining practical experience in the job market.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in a European ERASMUS+ mobility project, enjoying an enriching international experience through an internship.

Specialisation Opportunities
After completing the first two years of this course, you will be able to specialise by undertaking a third year of specialisation at ETIC_Algarve, which will enable you to obtain a British International Certification.
This third year of specialisation is a course recognised by Teesside University in Middlesbrough, England, and grants a qualification equivalent to the third year of the British higher education system (Level 6 – 120 ECTS*).

- Room equipped with one computer per trainee, with macOS or Windows environment
- Video and Photography Studio, with 100m² and Video and Photography Equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and light modelling;
- Huion Kamvas and Wacom drawing tablets;
- Software: Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, XD, Audition, etc.; Blender, InVision, Sketch, Canva Pro, Pro Tools, Figma, WordPress with development server.

Application Process
- Schedule a personal interview, please contact info@eticalgarve.com or call 289 823 359 / 960 309 550.
- Completion of application form (sent by e-mail after scheduling the interview)
- Attend the pre-arranged interview with the Head of Teaching, at which you should present your portfolio, if you have one
- Wait for notification of the application result.
Enrolment takes place between March and September, until the start of classes, and while there are places available on the courses.
Enrolment can be completed after the admission requirements have been verified and upon payment of the enrolment fee and presentation of:
- Curriculum / Biography
- 1 passport-type photograph, in digital format
- Qualifications certificate
- Applicant’s documents (ID card / Citizen Card + Taxpayer Card + Proof of address: electricity, water or telephone bill, or driving licence)
- Filling out and signing the registration form and training contract.
