How to create a story from start to finish
The Film and Television Production Course at ETIC_Algarve is a technical and creative programme designed for those who wish to develop skills in the fields of film, television and audiovisual production. If you are looking for a film or video course in the Algarve with a strong practical focus, here you will learn how to turn ideas into fully-fledged audiovisual narratives, mastering every stage of production for different formats and platforms.
Throughout this course, you will develop skills in audiovisual production, cinematography, sound recording, video editing and visual storytelling, learning how to develop projects for film, television and digital content using both technical and creative approaches.
We bring industry experience into the course, with tutors who are currently working in the field, to ensure that the training is up-to-date, rigorous and aligned with the real-world challenges of the audiovisual industry. On this Film and Television Production course, you will develop your methodology, production workflow and cinematic language, gaining the confidence to lead teams on set and ensure the technical and creative quality of audiovisual projects.
On the Film and Television Production course, you will learn:
- Camera operation, lighting and sound recording
- Realisation, pre-production, production and post-production
- Editing and finalisation of audiovisual projects
- Creation of visual narratives for cinema, television, and digital content
- Research and analysis of topics applied to audiovisual media
Upon completing this Technical Course, you will undertake a 480-hour Curricular Internship.
Furthermore, the opportunity to participate in a European ERASMUS+ mobility project, enjoying an enriching international experience through an internship.

- Wait for notification of the application result.Enrolment takes place between March and October, until the start of classes, and while there are places available on the courses.
