ETIC_Algarve’s Course in Music Creation, Production and Sound Techniques is a practical, professional training programme designed for those who wish to develop skills in the fields of music, sound production and professional audio. If you are looking for a music production course with a strong technical and creative focus, this programme will prepare you to work across all stages of audio production, both in the studio and in live sound settings.
Throughout the course, you will learn how to create, record, produce, mix and master music projects, developing skills in music creation, sound engineering, audio recording and digital music production using methodologies employed in the music industry.
We bring industry experience into the course, with tutors who are currently working in the field, to ensure that the learning experience is up-to-date, rigorous and aligned with the real-world challenges of the sector. On this music production course in the Algarve, you will work in environments that closely mirror the professional world and develop the technical skills used in studio work, performance and sound production.
On the Music Creation, Production and Sound Techniques Course, you will learn:
- Performance, production and recording techniques within a studio.
- Operation of mixing tables and live sound
- Use of recording, editing and mastering software
- Balance and sound perception for professional mixes
You will have access to recording and production studios, audio post-production and mastering rooms, as well as real concert environments, both on stage and in front of it, in partnership with Zipmix Studio and Coalman Recordings..
This course in sound and music production provides you with the tools you need to turn your ideas into professional music projects, ready for the national and international markets. Upon completing the Technical Course in Music Creation, Production and Sound Techniques, you will undertake a 480-hour work placement, an essential step in applying the skills acquired throughout the course and gaining practical experience in the workplace.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in a European ERASMUS+ mobility project, enjoying an enriching international experience through an internship.

Specialisation Opportunities
After completing the two-year course, you will be able to specialise by undertaking a third year of specialisation at ETIC_Algarve, which will enable you to obtain a British International Certification.
This third year of the Specialisation programme is a course recognised by Teesside University, in Middlesbrough, England, and is equivalent to the third year of the British higher education system (Level 6 – 120 CATS*).

- Wait for communication of the result of the application. Registration takes place between March and October, until classes begin, and as long as there are places on the courses. They may be made after the admission conditions have been verified and upon payment of registration and presentation of:
