How to bring the impossible to life with creativity and technique

The Specialisation Course in Video Post-Production and VFX at ETIC_Algarve is a creative professional training course that prepares you to transform images into true visual experiences. This course in the field of video teaches you how to apply visual effects in film and audiovisual productions, from filming to post-production, using industry-standard software.

Throughout the training, you will master the entire post-production pipeline, from essential concepts to the most advanced techniques, including:

  • Digital compositing and integration of VFX with live action footage
  • 3D tracking and object animation
  • Grading and colour correction
  • Motion graphics and CGI (Computer Graphic Imagery)

You will work with professional tools such as Premiere Pro, Blender, Red Giant, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, developing creative projects that combine live action and digital elements.

Upon completing this specialisation, you will be prepared to create a competitive professional portfolio for the national and international VFX market, opening doors to careers in film, advertising, music videos, and multimedia content.

At the end of this Specialisation Course, you will have the opportunity to participate in an ERASMUS+ European mobility project, enjoying an enriching international experience through an internship.

ETIC_Algarve also offers an optional 320-hour Extra Curricular Internship through the JUMP programme – Support for Professional Integration, for a confident entry into the job market.
